About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how FM Quote Studio handles information when you visit fmquotestudio.com, contact us, comment on articles, subscribe to updates or use our tools. For privacy questions or requests, use our Contact Us page.
Information you choose to share
Our contact form asks for your name, email address, subject and an optional message. We use these details to receive and respond to your inquiry. Messages are delivered to our designated Gmail inbox, and an automated acknowledgment is sent to the address you provide. Please avoid including sensitive personal, financial or medical information. Google processes email through its services under Google’s Privacy Policy.
Comments and profile images
When you comment, WordPress processes your name, email address, optional website, comment and technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Approved comments, display names and website links may appear publicly. Your email address is not displayed as part of the public comment.
Avatars are enabled. A hash derived from your email address may be sent to Gravatar to display your profile image. See Automattic’s Privacy Policy.
Email updates
If you subscribe through the comment form, Jetpack/WordPress.com processes your email address and preferences to send the updates you requested. You can manage or cancel subscriptions using the links in those emails. Contacting us through the contact form is separate from subscribing.
Replies to post-update emails are configured to become comments, so do not include private information in a reply that may be published. See Automattic’s Privacy Notice.
Quote maker and saved baby names
The quote maker processes your selected personal photo and typed quote within your browser. The current tool does not upload that photo or quote text to our server. Images you download are created on your device. If you choose to share an image, the destination you select applies its own privacy practices.
Baby-name guides use local browser storage to remember names saved on that device. You can remove saved names using the page controls or clear the site’s storage in your browser settings. Copy buttons place selected text on your clipboard when you use them. Normal page visits and background-image requests may still produce technical logs and analytics.
Analytics and technical information
We use Jetpack Stats to understand visits and improve the website. Automattic processes information such as visited pages, referring pages, timestamps, browser information, language, approximate country and IP address. WordPress.com account identifiers may also be processed if you are signed in.
Jetpack states that raw Stats logs containing visitor IP addresses and available WordPress.com usernames are kept for 28 days. This does not apply to all aggregated reports or other provider records. See Jetpack Stats privacy details.
Cookies and browser storage
WordPress uses cookies for sign-in and administrator preferences. If you choose to save your details when commenting, convenience cookies may remember your name, email and website for about one year. Saved baby names use local storage rather than these comment cookies.
You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. This may affect saved preferences or sign-in features. For provider cookie information, see Automattic’s Cookie Policy. This notice does not itself provide cookie-consent controls.
Hosting, security and service providers
Hostinger provides hosting, and LiteSpeed caching helps deliver pages efficiently. Hosting and security services may process request information, including IP addresses, browser details, timestamps and error records, to deliver the site, troubleshoot issues and detect abuse.
Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for protection against automated abuse. Cloudflare processes technical request, browser and device signals for this purpose. Read Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Hostinger’s Privacy Policy.
Providers involved in hosting, email, subscriptions, statistics and security may process information in countries different from yours. Their privacy notices explain their respective practices. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law.
Information retention
Contact messages and replies are stored in the email services used to handle inquiries. Retention depends on the handling of the inquiry and any ongoing administrative, dispute-resolution or legal needs. There is no automatic email-deletion period specified in this notice; you can contact us to request deletion or ask about a particular message.
Published comments and associated metadata remain in WordPress unless removed. Subscription records are handled under Automattic’s retention practices. Saved baby names remain on your device until removed or cleared. Hosting logs, provider records and backups have separate retention arrangements. Removing information from a page does not automatically remove copies held in email or backups.
Your choices and requests
You can request information about data you supplied, or ask for correction or deletion, through our Contact Us page. Please identify the relevant inquiry, comment or subscription without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
We may need to verify a request to protect your information. Some records may need to be retained for applicable legal or security reasons. Depending on the laws that apply, additional rights may include restricting or objecting to processing, receiving a portable copy, or contacting a data-protection authority. You can unsubscribe from email updates using the links in those emails.
Children’s information
You can read family and baby-name content without supplying a child’s personal details. Our tools do not require a child’s name, date of birth or photograph. Parents and guardians should avoid posting identifying details about children in public comments. Contact us if you believe information about a child should be removed.
External websites
Links take you to websites operated by others. Their privacy practices apply when you visit them. Embedded content, where present, may connect to its provider and collect information as if you visited that provider directly. Review the relevant provider’s notice before interacting.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when website features or data practices change. The revision date will be shown on this page. For questions about privacy, contact FM Quote Studio through the Contact Us page.
